Skill Transfer, Responsibility, and Workplace Confusion

What do they want from me?

What should I have done for the work to be completed, and what should I not have done?
What actually counts as “work” and what doesn’t?

Is the work they are assigning even valid work?
They demand specific formatting for documents, specific accounting treatments for companies, yet they themselves don’t standardize or maintain consistency.

Skill Transfer

If skill transfer does not happen from one level to another, the work stops.

So who is responsible for skill transfer?

  • The one who does not understand the requirement?

  • Or the one who actually knows the requirement?

And how should skill transfer happen?

  • Through proper documentation?

  • Or just a one-time explanation like “do it this way”?

Even if my senior documents everything, he will forget most of it if they don’t practice it for a year.

Workplace Issues

My concerns are also about people playing mind games—
Creating unnecessary limitations and restrictions,
Then expecting me to break those same limitations,
Or blaming me in front of others for delays in work.

My Approach

I am not here for the short run.
I will figure things out eventually.

I cannot spend time learning something new right now.
Learning something new means neglecting what needs to be done in the present.
My time is limited, and other work is more important.

Let them think whatever they want.

Independent Learning Plan

I have enough resources to learn on my own:

  • I can review the CAMIS portal of 100+ companies.

  • I can understand requirements independently.

  • I can contact all 32 wards of Kathmandu to understand documentation needs.

  • I can study lectures on financial statements and projections.

  • I can analyze tax filings across different sectors.

  • I can learn from not just one, but thousands of examples.

They cannot stop me.

I will continue this, at least for the next few months until my exams.

Final Position

I cannot be part of something I do not own.
And I cannot own something that is not mine.

If I think the work is not mine, I will not do it. Period.
